This is an over-view of a core-cutter made for me by my Uncle, Ray "Whit" Whitmore. This clever design cuts SQUARE ended cores of very uniform weight: it employs a reciprocating, "sliding" cutter, driven by a hand or belt-driven wheel - hopefully, this cutter will soon be fully automated . . core cutting is BORING! ;) RG
