Ok, I give up - I've been trying to get these pics to post on the general forum - without a hint of success. So, it's about time to get something done. The following is an edited note (I deleted the mushy stuff - we can't have BIG MIKE crying now, can we?) from Rick, one of our hosts at THE RANCH, who was kind enough to share the pics and brief story of his nephew's initiation to "goat" huntin' - not a bad first Pronghorn, Michael! :) And, not a bad NAME either! ;)
Beginning with the left-hand pic, L-R, Rick, the hapless 15"+ "goat", the [justifiably] Proud Hunter, MICHAEL, and his also proud father, Dean. Michael is 14 years young! Joe and I were fortunate to have converged with this crew at a popular gate, which separtates two large pastures, whereupon, we got to hear Michael's stroy from each of the three - yet another GREAT encounter! Oh, the best pic, on the right, is self-explanatory - Joe and I looked at goats for several DAYS and didn't find one this good - GREAT job, Michael! :) Thank you, Dean for the pics! RG
Randy, I have forwarded Mickael's goat pictures. . . . . . . . Maybe Big Mike can put 'cow chasin' on his resume if he gets hungry again this winter. He can put me down as a reference if he so dares.
I have enjoyed your posts on bench-talk.

p.s. Bill Spivens has been monitoring your posts to verify their accuracy.
" . . . attached are pictures of the antelope that Michael shot in Wyoming on Friday, October 5th.
He made a nice one-shot kill at about 230 yards with my 25-06. The horns are about 15-1/4 high and it rough scores around 72 inches. Pretty nice antelope. We looked at maybe 30 bucks in 2 hours before finding this one and deciding that it was the best one available.
