Hunting and other shootin' and reloading "stuff"

and, with a predictable result: they secured comfortable, prickly pear free stations amongst the thread-leaf sedge and promptly fell asleep! ;) This pic was snapped during our lunch-break, on our third and last day of "gathering" (rounding-up) cattle. We have come to look forward to a "day off", drovering cattle: this year, we participated in three gatherings. Where else could two duffers race around [on four-wheelers] chasing critters, going anywhere we fancy - and NOT get yelled at or, SHOT?!? :) And each gathering teaches us a little more respect for our hosts and their way of making a living . . . and about the land and its history.
