Sorry to hear of  your "bleak" season so far...but it is not quite over yet and I am sure things will change for the better just hang in there!  Here in the east it also has been mild and not really what you would call good "hunt'in" weather but we have had some luck. The biggest difference this year in our area is an additional amount of hunting pressure making for "tough" coyotes to call in some locations....seems more folks predator hunting now than in past years.

I've been using the 6BR that Stan built me this past year and am really pleased, it is flat shooting and super accurate and anchors coyotes like nobody's business!....no "runners" or even "spinners"....just a coyote on the ground at the shot.
