Good evening Hope,

My process with Hunter Class shooting is fairly simple.  The front rest is a Bald Eagle with windage top and Bald Eagle Cordura bag, the rear bag is also Bald Eagle with the thick leather base and Cordura ears.  The rear leg of the rest has my home made speed screw utilizing a 4 pitch thread.  The rifle is built on top of an unpainted Edge stock, probably the most stable platform I have ever built a rifle on and the rifle is a Kelbly receiver and Lilja barrel.  Weight is about 2oz under Max.  I utilize the front stop, I push the rifle solidly against the stop and then back off a bit utilizing the free recoil method of shooting.  I find that during the course of firing my targets that things with rifle, rest, and shooter change almost as much as the wind.  Everyone knows the value of consistancy.I always start on the sighter bull and use #5 as my first target.  I make it a point, on each target, to come up to elevation on the left side of the target, run the windage to the center of the bull(from the left) and then do my final adjustments.  When making the shift from bull 4 to bull 3 I go to the left edge of the target paper, set my elevation, then shift windage back to center.  This is not a quick way to shoot your 5 score targets but it has served me well.  I believe the process allows the rifle and bag to become a bit more comfortable with each other before I send the shot down range...............Be well............Larry
