1. It is unfair for those who regularly hold grand aggs as a normal format for their events to be awarded extra points for them without the event being some sort of Championship event.
Say what? By that same logic, it's unfair for those who shoot in forty events per season to get more points than shooters who live in an area where there are only three or four matches within reasonable driving distance.
Why on earth should someone who wins a grand agg NOT get credit for it? It's possible to win the grand without winning either yardage. Should that accomplishment be ignored, and if so, how is that fair?
Furthermore, grand aggs get points in every other cumulative BR competition I've ever heard of -- usually more than are awarded for a single yardage, for obvious reasons. Why should this one be different?
If it bothers you not to have the possibility of earning grand-aggregate points, put some pressure on your local match organizers to start holding two-yardage events, rather than trying to take points away from people who've learned to shoot with the consistency that wins grand aggregates!
