That sounds interesting. Did you notice any appreciable improvement in the wind with the 3400 fps loading? I, for one, after shooting a friends 30 MPI (a blown out, sharp necked .284 case necked up to 30) and doing around that velocity with a 150 VLD in a 13.5 lb gun is more than I want to handle on a routine basis!

I have a 6.5 mm barrel on it's way to Gary Long from Lilja that I am going to have made up in 6.5 Rogue(a blown out 37 degree shoulder 6.5x55 Swede - don't drool on me!) that I want to try at longer range. I just have this hankerin for a 6.5 and think in a well put together gun with a good barrel, bullets and cases may show some forgiveness at 300...maybe. Not that I'm trying to beat the "you have to learn to read the wind" fact of live but everyone needs some help!!
