It is my suspision that we have yet to find the ideal case configuration ofr thirty cal rifles in terms of what might be the ultimate in efficiency.

As the 30 BR seems to be the nearly perfect capacity to amke ur light bullets go X speed i think they or we might be in the fringe with thm. If short and fat is where it's at, perhaps the real efficiency lies with a short SSm case and I man short. I don't think we find it in the >308 or 300 Sav case but we need a fatter case to find the same efficiency which seems to exist with the ppc. I think it may be uet undiscovered in the .30 cal realm. Apparently we need to be south of the current loads that the 30 BR is doing OK @ but spread out wider @ it's base and depth.

Wish I had the warewithall to explore this but, alas, I am a bit tapped out. I think we may find the future , of score shooting  at least in VFS, may lie in shorter and fatter. P
