200k is the limit. You don't have to reduce the size (dimensionally) just reduce the quality (file size). You need high quality for print outs, but for posting on the web you don't. With whatever photo editor software you have there usually is a way to reduce the quality, thereby reducing the file size.Apparently, when the picture is over 200k, the message board software just puts the link in to the picture on your local machine leading you think it posted the picture for all to see.
