Sounds like you are having a good time with the .30BR. They'll grow on you.
I've got 2 guns in .30BR, a HV and my VHunter gun. My father also has a new gun in .30BR. We use H4198 exclusively and have had great luck with the stuff. The velocity that we shoot for is exactly what you've listed. Some folks are doing well with a higher velocity, but I've been unable to achieve the same accuracy at the hotter loads. I have tested up to 3200 fps with the H4198 using 112 BIB's. I've got 2 17 twist Liljas on my guns and my father has a Kostyshyn barrel on his. All 3 of these barrels are great.
True story: the first time that my father shot my HV .30BR in a match, he shot a 250-21x's and won the match. I shot a 250-20x in the VHunter class and won. He never again shot his 6PPC. He shot my HV in matches until he was able to get his own .30BR. We now have our own bullet dies and are starting to make our own .30 caliber bullets. We are sold on the .30's. I haven't shot a PPC in well over a year, other than trying to trouble shoot with a friends gun. That particular friend had his own .30BR built by Bob Green which is just about finished.
