Thanks for the input on the stock. I did look as HS Precision as I like they one they make for the Rem varmint/Sendaro rifles but they don’t offer a left bolt, long action, single shot stock suitable for my application. I also took a look at the Lone Wolf stocks, but couldn’t see a design I liked.

On of the things I really like about McMillan is the way they will inlet for about any action configuration the stock will accommodate. In the end I ordered a McMillan Saco Varminter in medium tan/brown/olive marbled about evenly. It should blend with most of the colours we get in Australia.

Once I have this on hand, I will be getting my 220 converted into a glue job with the recoil lug pinned so I can swap off the barrel. There are a few other varmint cartridges I want to try on this rig by swapping the barrel.

Anyhow, once the stock arrives and the rebuild is done, I will post some pictures.
