Final leg of the Vermont State Championships was held today under beautiful sunny skies with bewitching winds and mirage. Freezing temps overnight left it foggy and damp in the morning with lots of sweaters and blankets in evidence. As the sun came out and warmed things up, the more challenging the conditions became and the scores began to evidence it. Partial results:

Varmint for Score (100/200/Agg):
1. Clark Shen 250/18, 250/8, 500/26 (first ever VT State Champion in VFS!)
2. Greg Palman 250/17, 250/8, 500/25
3. Butch Randall 250/20, 249/12, 499/32
4. Joe Bethoney 249/22, 250/9, 499/31
5. Randy Jarvais 249/16, 250/9, 499/31

Hunter:
1. Gary Long 250/17, 248/4, 498/21 (first ever VT State Champion in HBR!)
2. Peter Wass 248/10, 244/8, 492/18 (put up a 50/4 target)
3. Peter Hills 250/8, 238/1, 488/12

Varmint Hunter:
1. Donna Masteller 248/13, 249/3, 497/16(first ever VT State Champion in VH!)
2. Parker Hills 249/17, 242/2, 491/19
3. Lee Masteller 250/16, 240/3, 490/19

Many thanks to the great group of shooters who came to VT to support this event. Complete results will follow … gotta go to work!
