The rules can NOT be rewritten by the leadership of the IBS. The BYlaws clearly state how the rules are to be changed. Anyone that does not like how a rule is written can write a proposed rule change and then solicit to get the 25 signatures to have it put on the annual meeting agenda. It is rather strange to me that many experienced shooters have shot by these rules for well over 35 years now. Are there some that need tweeking-sure. And there is a process for that change. I find your suggestions for change thought provoking and ask that you turn your fault finding into positive energy by taking the time and effort to write up how you would propose particluar rules to be written and then get the necessary signatures to get them on the agenda. Your suggestion that leadership do this is a indication to me that you want to find fault-but accept no responsibility about doing something about it.
