Have 'em here before Friday! ;) I kinda like this one! But I think the real winner is the "Nobody remains Standing" deal . .
If I get to go, I'm avoiding the politics like the plague . . . I'm already shooting like a blind pig & don't need any more distractions!
I'll probably do my share of , as Tom put it, BSing and enjoying the company . . . but, if ya like yer money, don't bet on me to win anything this time around.
Tom brought up another good point: The Bob Pease Team Trophy, which is awarded to the top scoring 5-man Team; it IS a proud Tradition, originated by one of the Founders of Hunter Rifle Competition, [the late] Bob Pease.
When I reflect om my occasional good fortune at the NBRSA Hunter Nationals, a proud memory is of having been asked to fill in [for Jim Angle] on The "Gypsy Joe Shooters" team in Y2K at Casper, Wyoming! THAT was an honor - and a LOT of pressure and MOTIVATION to try to fill Jim's X-LARGE shoes! Along with Jim, the original Gypsy Joes: Joe Magee; Roland Potter; Phil Hubertus; Jeff Lotto - not bad company! Being part of a winning Team created an indelible memory; it's not the same as the lonely and humbling feeling of an individual win! Good luck to all who attend.
Keep 'em ON the X! R.G.
