... I am interested to know how you find the Harris bipod for this type of shooting, does it give a good level of accuracy in the field? I usually rest my rifle on my day pack, but it can be hard to get the pack sitting the right way when I need to. Also, do you use anything under the butt (of the rifle, not yours) for the longer shots?
