Barrel fluting became somewhat popular and then has faded. There were many claims of what fluting did or did not do... The benchrest world has pretty much forgotton about it.... well let's hear the good, bad, and ugly. Does anyone know what most barrel makers say about it ? Inspite of all the claims on a hunting rifle it does looose some weight.... but does it loose accuracy also ?
