Hey, Stan, for what I sent ya, it looks great now - just wish I could have done a little better at editing! I just knew I'd get that new Remington number wrong too! ;(   Joe really likes it - much better than the Winchester M70 (pre '64' type action), .270WSM he toted along last year - though pleased witht both the accuracy and velocity, of the M70  he thought THAT rig a little too heavy - I believe it weighed in around 8.25# loaded and ready for a walkabout.

But what I really wanted to get ya fired up over is how "beautiful" Joe's new Rem. is! He thinks it's the best thing since a 660! He has one of those in .350 Rem. Mag. - used it to drop a couple of Alaskan Moose and a Griz while he was stationed In AK back in the mid 1980s . . . he thinks THAT rifle is 'beautiful' too . . geeeze I'm still recuperating from the UGLY bolt handle thrust into my view while at Todd's! I've been having nighmares ever since - at least the new version has a respectably executed bolt handle! ;)

According to chronology, both you AND Roy O. will precede me into Codgerdom - I just got out "THE BOOK" and looked it up!! ;)
