My thanks to all of you, my friends. My Dad was proof that Benchrest can be a spectator sport. Though his vision kept him from competing many of you saw him with Marv Nunn and me at various shoots over the last few years. The Oregon Trail Trophy rested in his home more than once and several of the items He and I won (he was my partner) are still on the wall of his house. He loved to watch us shoot, he particularly loved to listen to us bicker and complain to one another. He thought we had a true sport that was made up of true friends. Pop an X or two for him at your next match. He dearly loved to see the little dot disappear.
He loved to hunt and roam the mountains with his 30-40 Krag. He could not see well enough to take a shot at anything but he was hunting anyway. I am sure he is at it still ..........Thank you all again.........Larry
