A month ago I used the 17 twist( that will not shoot) to win the Oregon Trail Classic.  A couple weeks ago I competed in the Washington State Championships and finished 5th overall.  Today I used the barrel to win the 100 yard (250 16X) and place 3rd in the 200 (244 8X ) in terrible conditions and tomorrow I will give it my all at 300 yards and send another report. It is absolutely beyond anything I have ever experienced to have a mediocre barrel get better as you shoot untill at 1300 rounds it has become a very competative barrel/rifle system.  It is fun, gives us something to wonder about, but there is no explanation for it.  Today it produced the most wonderful 50 5x I have ever shot.  5 wipeouts, all 5 score shots totally inside the 10 ring.  I do not know what that would be as far as group size but where did it come from?  The world is a wondrous place.  Larry
