thanks folks for your comments kind or otherwise about the rifle team and myself..yes i could use a shave and a few other things..but all jokeing aside im very proud of this group of young people.we formed this team last june at 4-H camp ,two of this groups members hadnt even shot a gun of anykind prior too camp. the kids have came a very long way in one short year..are hope of attending the state 4-H championships were held over for another year due to the age of most of my team..""too young""..however we did manage to hold a match ageast one one of the top teams heading to states last sunday, with what should have been a tune up for them,,resulted in a near 200 point victory for us...these kids were not only ready but hungry for compition..i had used every adult shooter i could find over the past year to compete ageast them dureing bymonthly pratices.even with that the kids were still holding there own...this rifle thing has become very big thing here.at camp this summer i must take on two class's in order to admit everyone wanting in..next fall will be real tough as my team could well double in size going to A-B-C teams and remember im still only one instructor...thanks again for the comments...LW
