I took a 6BR Lapua brass, expanded it up to 30, then started to turn the neck a little at a time until it was all clean. I seated a bullet and miked it, it was somewhere close to .328+/-. It works just right for a .330 chamber.

So maybe he doesn't want to turn necks? I didn't measure it before I started turning.
