the post of Randy's on the new 6x scope is certainly appealing, but after thinking about spending money on a new 6x scope, i'm thinking how selfish that would be when my father is in need of better optics.
Anybody who has seen him shoot at a match will notice that he shoots with his head up off of the gun so that he can see the flags. This is because his left eye is almost entirely blind. His right eye hasn't been effected to the same degree and he plans to keep shooting. He has done fine at 100 yards, but really struggles at the further distances. So to take the best advantage of optics, i think that we need to save up for a NF 12-42x. Weight isn't an issue, as the gun is a HV and currently weighs only 12 lbs with a 36x B&L. What model and reticle is recommended? How much do they cost? Where is the best place to order one?
