Stan I THOUGHT I had Al WORN Down - obviously, 16 Hours wasn't enough over exposure! ;) No doubt about it, Mr. Nyhus toughed it out a LOT better than Roy and Craig did a few weeks prior - but THEY did have to endure 26 HOURS with me! Hey, look how well THEY fared @ Mainville - without my constant distraction, Roy and Craig both made TOP FIVE finishes! ;) Ya know, the more I play this game, the more I like people . . . wish I could just go back to being "BIG MIKE" all of the time - he hates you all! ;)
But ya know, "BIG MIKE" doen't have much fun . . . so, just to humor him (there's a long winter coming up), I've told him that HE gets to designate "the player to be named later"! ;)
We arrived in Mainville on 911 - realizing that people had sacrificed their lives (and continue to sacrifice their lives and liberites) so that we could persue our relatively meaningless dreams made it an emotional day; indeed, an emotional weekend. Where else in the world do people enjoy the liberties we take for granted - especially running up and down the highways headed to SHOOTING tournaments with a vehicle full of rifles? God bless America and the individuals who make these persuits possible - indeed, who despite their sacrifice, would/do EXPECT us to continue our persuit of liberty and happiness! POWERFUL motivation, THAT!
Having spent a full week with Al Nyhus, I can state that he is an appreciative and worthy Champion, who, as he stated above, repects the contributions that a certain Stan Ware has made toward these ends! The two of you make an admirable team - take THAT to heart. . . but stay humble. . . or "BIG MIKE" will be granted another weekend furlough! ;)
Keep 'em ON the X! R.G.
