Now check this out, my buddy broke his left hand pushing bush a couple weeks ago in a minor fall and is now wearing a brace to restrict his hand movement. The deer was 600yds out and running really fast, 34km wind left to right and the deer is running with it, so he shoulders the rifle normally and then just before the shot, lowers his left hand so the recoil does not "ring' it, and BOOM. He said he held on the second mil dot down for elevation and lead him about 1 1/2 of a deer length, got him in the neck.

One shot MWO Billy! He always gets his deer! Savage 110GF, 308. 

Note the lack of snow, should have been a foot deep by now in this area...
