Edit

Don't laugh at this one. As a VFS (36x) shooter I have not had to use a spotting scope. Now that I am entering the 6x class I have been thinking,(which always gets me in trouble), about the spotting scope.

Has anyone ever tried a spotting scope with a camera attachment then ran to a small LCD display (7inch of so) sitting on the bench. Scope could be off to the side or even out front of the bench.

Would you miss any extra information such as mirage etc. that the camera may not pick up?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
