The 200/300 yard score nationals were held this weekend and a lot of conversations were had regarding the .30's.  It was a resounding success for the .30BR's at all yardages.

200 yard leg was won by Clark Shen 250-13x.  New shooter last year, switched to a .30BR this year and has won a couple of times thus far.  He is 73 years old and weighs about 120 pounds, so that should dispell the excessive recoil myth.  A few .30's were clean at 200, including Craig Kostyshyn, Henry Rivers, and others.

300 yard leg was won by Henry Rivers 250-something.  Including a 4x target shot at 300 yards.

Grand Agg as follows:

Henry Rivers 30BR

Ricky Read  6PPC

Craig Kostyshyn  30BR

These were all results from the Varmint For Score class.

Varmint Hunter class was won by myself with a 30BR with a score of 493-10x's.  Shot a 247-6x at 200 and a personal best of 246-4x at 300 yards.  Conditions were fair, with switchy wind and moderate mirage.
