Hello from the world of the confused 17twist shooter.  Oregon State championships this weekend and the 17 just posted a 250 17X at 100 and a 245 5X at 200.  245 is not a tremendous score but was good for 2nd place with 20 good shooters competing.  The 250 17X is a good score anywhere.  And this from a barrel with 1300 rounds through it that would not shoot any X's and only about 243 points as a high score at 100 yards till it had about 900 rounds through it.  Tomorrow is the 300 so we will give it another go.  The barrel is performing, I cannot argue with what it has produced in the last 3 months so I am going to shoot it in the Nationals just because it is producing.  Oh the world of choices.  New barrel, old barrel, 17twist, 15 twist barrel,  just another day in Paradise I guess.

Ron Baldner won the 100 with a great 250 18X using light bullets in a 17twist barrel and I was second with a 250 17X using 134 BIB and the 17twist.

Robinette should have fun with this. hahahahah
