Congratulations to Brian Miller - he remains the man to beat! From here forward, I'll have to address him as MR SMAK! ;) I have shot against MR SMAK twice this season - his book end 499s are impressive!

Though I HATE being beaten by a CHEEZE HEAD - actually, several of them . . and a FORBIDDEN ZONER - Craig Nagel earned a CONGRATULATIONS for his prestegious 100 Yd. win! Craig, take some bows! Since throwing away the old barrel and installing the NEW tube, Mr. Nagel has proven problematic; the consulting fees will be billed upon completion of the 2003 season! ;)

Also, Al Nyhus and Roy Oines shot very credibly . . oh so close!

There are a couple of details worthy of note:

Firstly,  Roy Oines' 100 Yd score (as posted - 3 Roy Oines 250-18; 248-4; 498-20) is incorrect: it should be 250-16 - otherwise, hapless Carig Nagel would have to surrender the 100 Yd Championship trophy to Mr. Oines! ;)

Secondly, though there were (to my knowledge) only seven 1:17/18" twist barrels on the grounds, four of them were used to garner Top Ten placements: 2nd; 3rd;4th;8th! Further, bullets of 125 Gr. or less were used by those who finished 1st through 4th; 6th and 8th: Both Brian Miller and Joe Magee shot 125 Gr. bullets and Al Nyhus used 118 Gr. bullets, while Craig Nagel, Roy Oines and I all used 112 Gr. bullets - there is no substitute for a tuned rifle and good execution!

Keep 'em ON the X! R.G.
