This last weekend there was an HBR match in Salmon Idaho .As usual, the switchy winds and mirage was in place.
The 100 was not to bad and was won by Leroy Nethercott with a 250-20X.
The 200 turn nasty and people lost point in piles. Leroy won again with a 242-?X.
The 300 on Sunday morning started a little tricky and then turn challenging. The wind was very swithy. I was on the Bench next to Leroy and was priviledged to see my first 250 shot at 300 Yards. He worked very hard and then when the conditions were not tough enough to deal with, his target blew down with no record shots and a sighter full of holes. We had a cease fire and after the target was repalce, He had to deal with a well ventalated sighter and winds that got even switcher. I watched him shot his target and have nothing but respect for the tactical way he shot another 50.
That was the greatest exibition of accurate shooting I have ever seen. It was my privilege the be there and witness such a feat.
