Edit
A short time ago I sent an e-mail to some shooting friends about a situation I encountered with the Federal 210M primers.  I opened a new brick and upon opening the first package I found the sealer in the primers ranged from a heavy read sealant to no sealant at all (or at least not visable).  I sent an inquiry to Federal and they replied that they had made a change from whatever they had to a latex product for factory safety.  I have no problem with that but the primers are visually very different from one another.  I sent a copy of the Federal response to several folks and at this date I have had 3 folks tell me they have encountered this also but found no difference in the performance.  I would think that in a given lot of primers either all would have lots of read sealant, a little red sealant or no visable sealant at all.  I buy bricks so the lots are the same for at least 1000 primers.  I find that the variation within even 100 (from a visual standpoint) is tremendous.  I have not fired any.  Has anyone else encountered this situation??? Do I spray they all red???????? Do I shut my eyes and ignore the differences??????? Do I try to figure out a way to swap with Randy for his?????????  Be well friends.....Larry Cribbs
