i've seen that rifle, it sure is a beauty.  hope it shoots well for you.  Neither of my Hunter guns have paint, just the EDGE gel coat finish.  No teflon tape or anything.  I actually ordered them to be as drab as possible, olive green, gray, etc.

Not that I don't appreciate a nice paint job, quite the contrary.  I just don't like to pony up the extra cash to have them painted nicely.  I'd rather buy an extra barrel, scope or powder.
