"Awl I cees a blowd grup - owd ee cum t thet - az ee got bad eyzs er smopthin . . .?!"

We can only assume that Big Mike has learned the subtle art of toung-in-cheek - but he's difficult to 'read'!  On a more serious note, it looks like the JAG is just TOO BIG for the 17 twist barrels; I have informed Mr. Goody to surrender posession & title B4 he suffers mental or physical harm. For instance, It appears that the 17 twist has set the recovery of his vision back several months - that lone 'flier'  obviously came from either TOO MUCH recoil, or faltering sight picture . . or, possibly BOTH! ;)

Even more seriously, it IS good to see that Jim has recovered from last years eye disorder and appears quite capable of handling the 3200 FPS delivered by the JAG/112 BIB combination! Crunch some wind drift numbers on THAT (BC is .32)! Hopefully, the smith will now accept the 17" twist as "for real" . . . . ;)

Based upon the [disproportional] Winning Record for the thirties last season (pretty stragightforward - check the results for not only the season, but both the IBS 100/200 and 200/300 Yd. Score Championships), AND the reports coming in almost daily, perhaps there IS some merrit in my, as labeled by some, "disingenuous" promotion of the NEW  thirty caliber paradigm - the potential to dominate score events AND give no quarter in group events. The ONLY negative attribute is a little more recoil - by every other comparison, the [light bullet/just right twist] thirty caliber model is superior.

Keep 'em ON the X! R.G.
