Greg, I read in the thread below about you having trouble keeping Kelbly and Jewell rings on the bases on a RFD action. It's possible that the bases may be for the BKL rings...the dovetail angle is just different enough that they look like they will work, but won't. The BKL's are actually cut for the 3/8" dovetail common to rimfire, Warne and Anchutz bases.
