Edit

The early morning today offered what I'd been waiting for...10-18 mph. winds gently switching from 10:00 to 2:00 and not fishtailing. At our range, this wind scenario is ideal for checking wind deflection as you go up in velocity. By shooting the hard right and then the hard left blow, you can get a good handle  on which loads offer the best performance in the wind.

I'm starting to get a bit more comfortable with the gun, as well. Shortening the l.o.p. allowed me to get squared up better and adding some Hoehn 1/2" risers let me shoot with my head up, 'ala my HBR gun.

One thing's for sure...the more I shoot these 36X scopes, the more I dislike them. Banging Head   -Al
