Edit
I tend to agree with what my good friend Rod Franzius says, " the 30 BR is all about Light Bullets". We have seen no gain in using bullets heavier than the 118's. Personally, I would like to be able to have some bullets lighter than 100 g for 100yd shooting. Perhaps they would be good at the longer ranges too as they would go faster. The key in my way of thinking is to keep the freebore small to be able to seat shorter bullets. I have a few 100g bullets to try and will as soon as the weather warms up a bit. I think the future may be there, in lighter bullets. we certainly have a big enough variety of powders that work. 2950 or 3000 is the same rather it comes out of a 30 BR , a 30-44 or a 30-47. Shorten up them cases too guys and Enjoy the Ride more. p
