Edit
Hi Randy,  I shoot the full size 308 Obermeyer with a 134 BIB as the bullet and a velocity of 3000+ fps.  Being numb from the buckle both ways I shoot absolutely free recoil.  I use a block to place my trigger hand on so I do not contact the trigger guard.I the Bald Eagle windage top and an elevation screw of my own building to aim the rifle and leave about 2" between the butt of the EDGE stock and my shoulder.  I use a moderate ammount of tension on the front bag so this probably reduces the felt recoil somewhat.  I do not have a recoil pad on the stock.  Seems to work for me but probably not for everyone.  Have fun and be well.....Larry Cribbs
