Here's a pic with daughter-in-law, Susan, displaying a very good white-tail buck - for this locale, exceptionally good - taken by her maternal uncle, Gary, during the first Iowa shotgun season - about 2 miles due East of the BI digs, on the East side of the DesMoines River, In Boone County. Walker informs me that the main beams exceeded 25" and the G2s were a tad over 12": look at that mass - the base circumferences were just shy of the seven inch mark! :) Where was this deer while I was huntin'! ;) RG
